Manuela Álvarez is a Colombian fashion designer and the founder of MAZ, a high-contemporary slow fashion house where artisanal craftsmanship meets architectural design, material research and cultural intelligence. Through her 360° Holistic Sustainable Process, she collaborates with more than 850 artisans across Latin America, developing original handcrafted textiles and emotionally sustainable systems for production. MAZ has partnered with adidas Originals and represented Latin America twice at the United Nations, positioning craftsmanship as a sophisticated and globally relevant language. Her work builds a new narrative of contemporary fashion from the Global South: intellectual, innovative and deeply human.
