AKIKOAOKI is a Tokyo-based womenswear label.
After graduating from Joshibi University of Art and Design, Akiko joined Central Saint
Maritins College of Art and Design in London.
After returning to Japan, she worked for Japanese fashion labels as a design
assistant, and she launched her own brand during Tokyo fashion week in Spring-Summer
2015.
AKIKOAOKI is a womenswear brand which creates a romantic world infused with nostalgia.
Inspired by the sense of fantasy that hides in reality, AKIKOAOKI showcases a feminine and yet classical style.
