THE LVMH PRIZE WAS CREATED IN 2013 TO CELEBRATE AND SUPPORT CREATIVE TALENT FROM AROUND THE WORLD. THIS COMPETITION IS OPEN TO ALL DESIGNERS AGED 18 TO 40 WHO HAVE CREATED AT LEAST TWO READY-TO-WEAR COLLECTIONS.
THE AWARDS
THE LVMH PRIZE
The winner of the LVMH Prize receives a 400,000€ endowment and is mentored for one year by a team of LVMH experts.
THE KARL LAGERFELD PRIZE
The Karl Lagerfeld Prize was created in 2022, in honour of former LVMH Prize Jury member Karl Lagerfeld. The winner of the Karl Lagerfeld Prize receives a 200,000-euro allocation and enjoys a one-year mentorship by LVMH experts.
THE SAVOIR-FAIRE PRIZE
Launched in 2024, the Savoir-Faire Prize rewards excellence in craftsmanship, technical innovation at the service of creativity, and sustainability. The winner of the Savoir-Faire Prize receives a 200,000-euro allocation and enjoys a one-year mentorship by LVMH experts.
THE LVMH PRIZE FOR YOUNG FASHION GRADUATES
The LVMH Prize also distinguishes three young fashion school graduates. Each winner, as well as their school, receives 10,000 euros and joins the design studio of one of the group’s Houses for one year.

SELECTION
Each year, 20 semi-finalists are selected among the online applications.
SEMI-FINAL
During the semi-final, Experts from the world of fashion choose the finalists.
FINAL
Then, during the final, the Jury members select the winners.

Driven by a passion for creativity, the LVMH group launched the LVMH Prize in 2013. This patronage embodies the commitment of the group and its Houses to today's young designers, who are the talents of tomorrow.
THE MENTORSHIP
The winners of the LVMH Prize, the Karl Lagerfled Prize and the Savoir-Faire Prize enjoy a one-year mentorship programme. LVMH experts mentor the winners in numerous fields such as sustainable development, communication, copyright and corporate legal aspects, as well as marketing and finances.
