Auberoby Julian Louie

Aubero was founded in 2022 by Julian Louie. After studying architecture at The Cooper Union and holding principle design roles in womenswear, Louie brings an instinctual and highly tactile design approach to this new menswear line. Informed by the cultural mélange of his upbringing in Santa Cruz, Aubero proposes a vision of offhand elegance, articulated through a unique approach to material and fabrication. An expressive wardrobe that applies extravagant textures to legible silhouettes, the collection is a collage of gestures and attitudes, inflected with a subtle theatricality. At the core of Aubero is honor for material — old and new — and honor for craft.
