Fidan Novruzova created her namesake label in October 2020 as an outlet for self-expression. A Central Saint Martins graduate with Azerbaijani roots and a Moldovan upbringing, Novruzova has become a cult favourite of the new fashion guard, VIP clientele, and international retailers since launching her brand. Using traditional craftsmanship to produce a distinct aesthetic universe that is both feminine and assertive, retrofuturistic and familiar, Fidan’s designs reimagine the domestic and bizarre in unexpected ways. Silhouettes from modern and bygone eras merge to create retrofuturistic garments that ultimately seem to exist outside of time itself.
