Julia Männistö is a Berlin based designer. Growing up in Finland in a multicultural family, she initially studied photography at Pekka Halonen Academy, then fashion at the Aalto University Helsinki where she picked up her passion for developing her own surface design through textiles as well as a focus on menswear. Having interned for the likes of Bernhard Willhelm in 2010 she then moved to London to complete her Masters at Central Saint Martins under Professor OBE Louise Wilson.
