Nasir Mazhar is a British menswear and womenswear fashion designer born in East London and raised by Turkish Cypriot parents. The headgear designer started out as a hair-stylist with Vidal Sassoon before turning to theatrical design to fulfil his desire to work in a more highly conceptualised way. He started designing headpieces but soon progressed to hats.
Spring/Summer 2009 saw Mazhar’s London Fashion Week debut.
In 2013, he launched his first full clothing collection for both men and women at the London Fashion week. But still, he is best recognised for his inventive approaches to sports caps and headwear.
