Malone is unwaveringly committed to sustainability and strongly against the mass production evident in the fashion industry. His collections are often released in strictly limited numbers and has invested heavily in innovative new fabrications. His collections have celebrated age-old weaving techniques, natural and organic dyes and handwoven textiles, regenerated ocean waste nylon, completely recycled knitwear and handwoven piece silk.
Malone's approach to design is deeply rooted in his self-taught approach to pattern cutting - known for sculptural shapes and exceptional cutting, grounded in the reality of his working class upbringing, and much inspired by his years working alongside his father on building sites.
