Ryan studied sewing and modeling for two years before entering the Academy Of Art of San Francisco where she specialized in knitwear.
In 2004 the young woman left the west coast and settled in New York. She created a children's brand whose cashmere knits were made by women’s cooperative in Nepal, before launching a womenswear line.
The exceptional fabrics but also delicate color range and uncluttered style inspired by the minimalism of 90s made the brand a success.
