The theme of Ryunosuke's work is "harmony between people and nature" and "prayer".
Born and raised in Hiroshima, the city where the atomic bomb was dropped, Ryunosuke has been praying for peace since he was a child. He is interested in the relationship between people and prayer in Shintoism. Ryunosuke does not draw his designs, but starts from the beginning, working with the fabric and his hands to create the garment. This process can also be called an act of "prayer”.
He launched his RYUNOSUKEOKAZAKI label in 2018 and graduated from with a Design MA from the Tokyo University of the Arts in 2021.
